d096ce1644 GLES2 Batching - Fix custom shaders reading VERTEX
In situations where custom canvas shaders read VERTEX values, they could read incorrect global positions rather than local positions where batching had baked item transforms. This PR prevents joining items that read VERTEX built in in shaders, and thus prevents this situation arising (as unjoined items will not bake transforms).

b08ad9ef64 GLES2 batching - prevent color baking with MODULATE or COLOR
Adding the ability to access MODULATE in the shader breaks when final_modulate is baked into vertex colors (this is a technique used to batch together different colored items). This PR prevents baking vertex colors when MODULATE is detected in the shader.

It also prevents baking when COLOR is read in canvas shaders, which could currently produce the wrong result in the shader if colors were baked. It does not prevent baking if COLOR is only written, which happens in most shaders, and will operate correctly without baking.

b6d652367b Items and draw calls added to IDE Monitor in '2d' section
This adds 2 new values (items and draw calls) to the performance monitor in a '2d' section, rather than reusing the 3d values in the 'raster' section.

This makes it far easier to optimize games to minimize drawcalls.

Add VisualServer methods to get the video adapter name and vendor
These methods can be used in scripts to retrieve the OpenGL
`GL_RENDERER` and `GL_VENDOR` strings (respectively).

This closes #28404.

5ab3b61520 Restructure depth_internalformat code to work on mobile
This changes the code path so that `glRenderBufferStorage*` always uses
values appropriate for renderbuffers and `glTexImage2D` never uses an
internalformat meant for buffers.

Fixes #33825.

69003457b3 WebGL 2.0: Force decompressing non power-of-2 textures with repeat/mipmap
While OpenGL ES 3.0 and WebGL 2.0 both support non power-of-2 (NPOT)
textures in their specification, the situation seems to be less clear
about *compressed* NPOT textures using repeat or mipmap flags.

At least Chrome on Linux doesn't seem to support this combination,
and a variety of mobile hardware have similar limitations.

As a workaround, we force decompressing such textures when running on
WebGL 2.0, at the cost of loading time and memory usage.

Fixes #33058.

f5365aa0e1 Fix GLES2 skinning where VERTEX_TEXTURE not supported
Although the backup USE_SKELETON_SOFTWARE skinning path is currently used when float texture is not supported, the default skinning path still fails when float texture is supported but GL_MAX_VERTEX_TEXTURE_IMAGE_UNITS is 0, i.e. the device cannot read from texture during vertex shader. This PR adds the logic to activate the SKELETON_SOFTWARE path if either of these cases occur, preventing crashes on devices which have this combination of features.

02ea99129e Adding a new Camera Server implementation to Godot.
This is a new singleton where camera sources such as webcams or cameras on a mobile phone can register themselves with the Server.
Other parts of Godot can interact with this to obtain images from the camera as textures.
This work includes additions to the Visual Server to use this functionality to present the camera image in the background. This is specifically targetted at AR applications.

85ce4a67ed Remove animation loop from ParticlesMaterial + improvements to CPUParticles2D
Remove animation loop from ParticlesMaterial and move it to
SpatialMaterial for 3D particles and Particles2D for the 2D case.

Added animation to CPUParticles2D as well as the "Convert to
CPUParticles2D" to the PAarticles2D menu.

352b3c9c93 Cleaning up some uninitialised variables in GLES2 stuff.
Initialise keep_original_textures and use_fast_texture_filter in storage
config. Removed any other variables from storage config that were both unused
and uninitialised to avoid future confusion (if they're needed it's
easier to spot an uninitialised variable problem in a PR that adds the
variable again rather than just uses it).

Copied storage Texture struct constructor from GLES3 implementation
(except where variables were already initialised with different values).
Gives us sensible tested defaults for previously uninitialised vars.

Added assignments for state.current_main_tex based on same in GLES3.

This allows more consistency in the manner we include core headers,

bd5ff205b2 Revert "Batch GLES2 draw calls"
This reverts commit f55039b194.

The GLES2 batching seems to require more testing and tweaking in order
to actually make the performance better on Android devices. It's been
proved with #21184 that the current implementation has it's drawbacks
therefore I suggest reverting the commit for now.

35eb7f2d6a Rasterizers are now in sync with engine
The rasterisers (both GLES3 and GLES2) were calculating their own frame delta time
This fix lets the rasterizers get the frame delta through the draw call
That way any regulations to the frame step from the main script will not cause particle systems to process at a different step than the rest of the Engine.

Remove unused rasterizer storage variable

frame.prev_tick variable were not used anywhere and has been removed

eac4c984df add GLES 2 renderer for 2D
This commit adds a new rendering backend, GLES2, and adds a
project setting to enable it.

Currently this backend can only be used on the X11 platform,
but integrating into other platforms is planned.
