Disable Expand by default in VideoStreamPlayer
This ensures videos are always visible as soon as a video file
is specified in the VideoStreamPlayer node. The node will no longer
be resized to 0×0 by default, making the video invisible in the process
(even if the audio can still be heard).

Add a Bake Mask property to GPUParticlesCollisionSDF3D
This allows not accounting for certain visible meshes during baking
(such as foliage and thin fixtures).

This also adds a clarification about transparent materials always
being excluded in the OccluderInstance3D documentation.

75a8606b83 Add AnimationTree Advance Expressions
Allows specifying an expression as a condition for state machine transitions.

This gives much greater flexibility for creating complex state machines. By directly interfacing with the script code, it is possible to create complex animation advance condition for switching between states.

Ensure assigning AnimationTreeStateMachineTransition base expression node in editor is relative to current AnimationTree node.

Allow setting an expression base node on the AnimationTree itself.

9ddebc0c22 Add a const call mode to Object, Variant and Script.
For this to work safely (user not call queue_free or something in the expression), a const call mode was added to Object and Variant (and optionally Script).

This mode ensures only const functions can be called, making it safe to use from the editor.

b7c41f9ba1 Add ability to export Node pointers as NodePaths
This PR implements:
* A new hint: PROPERTY_HINT_NODE_TYPE for variant type OBJECT, which can take specific node types as hint string.
* The editor will show it as a node path, but will set it as a pointer to a node from the current scene if you select a path.
* When scene is saved, the node path is saved, then restored as a pointer.

NOTE: This is a proof of concept and this approach will most likely not work. The reason if that, if the node referenced is deleted, then when trying to edit this the node will become invalid.

Potential workarounds: Since this uses the Variant API, it should obtain the pointer from the Variant object ID. Yet, this would either only really work in GDScript or it would need to be implemented with workarounds in every language.
Alternative ways to make this work: Nodes could export an additional property with a node path (like for which_node, it could be which_node_path).
Another alternative: Path editing could happen as a hidden metadata (ignoring the pointer).

e772b65d92 Remake resource thread safety and API
* Ensures thread safety when resources are destroyed.
* Simplified API by always forcing `ResourceCache::get_ref`, which needs less hacks and is fully thread safe.
* Removed RWLock for resources because its not possible to use for the new logic. Should not be a problem.

The name was confusing as this signal is emitted around the same time as
`tree_exiting` and `NOTIFICATION_EXIT_TREE`, i.e. while the child node is
still in tree.

Remove spaces in SubResource()/ExtResource/Resource() in text resources
These spaces are not needed for the file to be successfully parsed.

Other types such as Vector3 are no longer serialized with spaces
after the opening parenthesis and before the closing parenthesis,
so this is also more consistent.

In AnimationTree::_process_graph, the State.valid variable is set to true.
A few lines later, it's set again. Probably a copy/paste mistake. This
commit removes the second assignment.

a5c01dc25a Fixes #62096: LightmapGIData::_get_light_textures_data crash on empty image
The program crashes when trying to determine slice width/height if the
light texture is empty. This fix just returns an empty array, as if the
light texture does not exist.

Always sample the heightmap with linear filtering in BaseMaterial3D
Nearest-neighbor filtering of the heightmap results in a broken
appearance, with and without Deep Parallax enabled on the material.

Linear filtering results in a more expected appearance. This does
not affect other texture maps such as albedo, normal or roughness.

Tweak Light3D property hints for greater flexibility
- Specular can now be set above 1.0.
- Blur can be set to 0 to disable shadow blurring entirely, which is useful
  on lights that have a non-zero size.
  - When shadow blurring is disabled, lights that have a non-zero size will
    not use PCSS-like soft shadows, speeding up shadow rendering
    considerably.
- Some property hints now allow more precise values.

Fix single-window mode popup not closing when OptionBox is clicked.
Fix single-window mode submenus closing when parent menu item, that was used to open it is clicked (using same safe-area logic as platform specific code).
Disallow windows that are part of an edited scene from being set as exclusive or popup to prevent it from locking up the editor.

a14f7c4027 Fix strange behavior with list close tags and empty list tags
Fix the first two points in #61621.

Support for two  writing ways: compact or loose. The loose one is designed for easy editing in the editor.
For this, the first blank line (if exists) right after the list tags (`[ol]`, `[/ol]`, `[ul]`, and `[/ul]`)
will be ignored.

Make sure the empty list contains at least one item, that is, an empty list is ultimately a list with one item.
As a reminder here is a list.

Add a gizmo to visualize AudioStreamPlayer3D's audible radius
The ring's color changes depending on the attenuation model chosen,
and whether Max Distance is capping the distance the sound can be
heard at.

Cold colors are used when the volume cap is a "soft" cap (the sound
can still be heard past the distance, but only faintly).

Warm colors are used when the volume cap is a "hard" cap (the sound
can't be heard past the distance at all).

White is used for linear fade performed when the attenuation model
is Disabled and Max Distance is greater than 0.

No ring is drawn when the attenuation model is Disabled and Max Distance
is equal to 0 (since the sound can be heard from anywhere).

* Add a button to add properties (which lets you select node and property)
* Add ability to drag properties and drop them to the editor.
* Made the editor transient (not always visible on the bottom) since its not needed most of the time.
* Added the ability to pin the editor, in case dragging properties from other nodes is desired.

Decrease SphereShape3D's default radius to 0.5 to match primitive mesh
The SphereMesh primitive mesh's size was recently decreased, but
unlike other primitive meshes, the sphere shape's radius wasn't

e6c909b489 add check for selection when try to push a meta.
Add a check for when we select a text but end on a link. Before it would act as if we just click an link, but now it changes it so if we click-drag over a link, we could select it (and not move to other page).

6b51ab66d8 Make Navigation Agents and Obstacles respect parent process mode
Temporarily removes agent from navigation map when parent node cannot process due to SceneTree pause and process_mode property. Normal process_mode does not work as other agents would still avoid the paused agents because they were still active on the navigation map and the rvo world. Also fixes potential crash when region_get_map or agent_get_map is called while no map is set.

d79818acb6 Fix errors and improve UX relating to new animation libraries
- Fix a bug causing an error message when a scene containing an AnimationPlayer with a reset track is saved, by correctly referencing the temporary "default" library.
- Make library dropdown in new animation window assign correct library when creating an animation.
- Similarly allow choice of library when duplicating animation.
- Make library dropdown default to library of currently selected animation.
- Make library dropdown show when exactly one library exists, and it isn't [Global]. Include [Global] on the dropdown in this case (will be newly created if dialog is confirmed).
- When appending (x) to avoid New Anim name collisions, correctly check target library instead of [Global].
- Add parentheses when appending x when duplicating animations in the library editor, for consistency.
- Change titles and prompts to be distinct in name/rename/duplicate dialiogs.
- Fix bug in OprionButton.get_selectable_item(true) when last is not selectable.
- Fix issues where animation wasn't found on deletion/rename by correctly prepending library name.
- Remove an extraneous print_line from animation_track_editor.
- Add messages to errors when an animation isn't found.

e33fa9d833 Clamp NavigationMesh sample_distance above zero
While default ReCast library has support for 0.0 'sample_distance' the Godot implementation does not an crashes.
Previously Godot would set all sample_distance values below 0.9 to 0 which causes the crashes.

This limits the sample_distance range selection to 0.1 - 16.0 and also clamps sample_distance that are below 0.1 before ReCast receives them.

746dddc067 Replace most uses of Map by HashMap
* Map is unnecessary and inefficient in almost every case.
* Replaced by the new HashMap.
* Renamed Map to RBMap and Set to RBSet for cases that still make sense
  (order matters) but use is discouraged.

There were very few cases where replacing by HashMap was undesired because
keeping the key order was intended.
I tried to keep those (as RBMap) as much as possible, but might have missed
some. Review appreciated!

cc707412e9 Fix NavigationObstacle2D/3D get_global_transform() error
Fixes NavigationObstacle2D/3D reporting a 'get_global_transform: Condition "!is_inside_tree()" error when estimating the agent radius.

The collisionshapes that are lower in the SceneTree order than the obstacle node are not loaded in the SceneTree yet so the global_transform function fails.

Also adds warning message when this happens.

8b7c7f5a75 Add a new HashMap implementation
Adds a new, cleaned up, HashMap implementation.

* Uses Robin Hood Hashing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_table#Robin_Hood_hashing).
* Keeps elements in a double linked list for simpler, ordered, iteration.
* Allows keeping iterators for later use in removal (Unlike Map<>, it does not do much
  for performance vs keeping the key, but helps replace old code).
* Uses a more modern C++ iterator API, deprecates the old one.
* Supports custom allocator (in case there is a wish to use a paged one).

This class aims to unify all the associative template usage and replace it by this one:
* Map<> (whereas key order does not matter, which is 99% of cases)
* HashMap<>
* OrderedHashMap<>
* OAHashMap<>

This results in less surprising behavior out of the box.

88d3f14697 Add ability to bake_navigation_mesh off thread.
This feature makes it possible to workaround problems such as:
 - long baking time due to heavy synchronization when parsing geometry
   from mesh instances
 - crash when freeing `NavigationMeshInstance` while baking
 - errors when actively baking node tree is being detached from the
   scene tree

0a57f964a3 Implement missing Node & Resource placeholders
Implemented by request of @neikeq to advance in the GDExtension version of Mono.

* If a Resource type is missing upon load, it will be remembered together with its data (Unless manually overriden).
* If a Node type is missing upon load, it will be also be remembered together with its data (unless deleted).

This feature makes working with GDExtension much easier, as it ensures that missing types no longer cause data loss.

Remove RES and REF typedefs in favor of spelled out Ref<>
These typedefs don't save much typing compared to the full `Ref<Resource>`
and `Ref<RefCounted>`, yet they sometimes introduce confusion among
new contributors.

e7056c195d Improvements of state machine
- Open the menu to add new animation nodes by dragging the transitions to
empty areas and automatically connecting them.
- Adds box selection to the state machine.
- Add feature to group/ungroup selected nodes in a "sub" state machine.
- Add start/end node by default. In addition, add new color to these
nodes to differentiate then.
- Add tooltip for transitions to show the connection "from -> to".
- Add new "type" of transition line when multiple transitions are
grouped.
- Add popup to connect nodes in sub state machine.
- Add dialog to select which nodes can be deleted when they are grouped.
- Add classes:
	AnimationNodeStartState
	AnimationNodeEndState
	EditorAnimationMultiTransitionEdit
- Implements disabled transition

API Changes:
- Now it's posible to add transitions between state machines,
`AnimationNodeStateMachine::add_transition` will works with relative path,
this means you can use it like this `add_transition("Idle", "Walk", tr)`
or `add_transition("Idle", "StateMachine/Shoot)`.

c273ddc3ee Style: Partially apply clang-tidy's cppcoreguidelines-pro-type-member-init
Didn't commit all the changes where it wants to initialize a struct
with `{}`. Should be reviewed in a separate PR.

Option `IgnoreArrays` enabled for now to be conservative, can be
disabled to see if it proposes more useful changes.

Also fixed manually a handful of other missing initializations / moved
some from constructors.
